Is seeking an Paint Prep Technician at our Part 145 Repair Station in Mount Pleasant, PA

  • Prep aircraft for stripping
    – Masking of airframe and parts
  • Mask airframe tail boom and parts for pro-seal and pro-seal same
  • Mask airframe, tail boom and parts for acid wash, alodine and complete each procedure
  • Prep airframe, tail boom and parts for sanding
  • Body work on airframe, tail boom and parts and spot prime same
  • Sand airframe, tail boom and parts for base coat
  • Mask airframe, tail boom and parts for base coat
  • Unmask airframe, tail boom and parts for reassembly
  • Disassemble parts from aircraft for masking of stripes
  • Mask airframe, tail boom and parts for stripes, logos, and registration numbers
  • Prep airframe, tail boom and parts for painting of stripes
  • Prep and paint parts and pieces.
  • Mask interior, crew area and passenger areas for paint
  • Paint interior as per customer’s specifications
  • Detail interior and exterior of aircraft for delivery to customer
  • Ensure all tags are properly filled out and attached to respective parts.
  • Able to consistently produce quality work, setting high standards, team player, good attitude, company oriented.
  • Able to stripe aircraft and install logos, etc.

 

 

A&P Mechanic

The following job description includes major responsibilities as set forth for the position.   • Airframe and Power plant license recommended
  • Aviation Experience a must
  • Helicopter Experience a plus
  • Complete understanding of maintenance procedures and requirements
  • Evaluate and correct discrepancies when approved.
  • Perform inspections in accordance with applicable maintenance manuals/337’s and ICA’s.
  • Perform component overhauls and repairs
  • Comply with Pre & Post maintenance check flights as required
  • Comply with flight line/ground runs/leak checks as required
  • Comply with Track & Balance as of required systems
  • Assist other departments as required
  • Road trips as required
  • Knowledge of sheet metal techniques
  • Knowledge of avionics techniques
  •  Must have general hand tools

Sheet Metal Technician

The following job description includes major responsibilities as set forth for the position.   • Complete understanding of maintenance procedures and requirements
  • Have a working knowledge of aircraft and aircraft systems
  • Able to read and understand blueprints and aircraft drawings/Maintenance Manuals, and Installation Manuals
  • Be able to build and/or repair sheet metal structures to aircraft maintenance manuals or blueprints
  • Be able to build and or repair composite
  • Help with the Disassembly and Reassembly of aircraft panels
  • Installation of Kits
  • Build items per drawings and or manuals
  • Repair Aircraft parts by of sheet metal or  composite
  • Inspect items for serviceability
  • Assist other departments as required
  • Road trips as required
  • Ensure all tags are properly filled out and attached to respective parts

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3-5 years of Sheet Metal experience is a plus
  • Composite experience a plus

Avionics Tech

The following job description includes major responsibilities as set forth for the position.   • Fabricate and/or install basic avionics and electrical systems
  • Assist with complex system installations and tasks
  • Disassemble and reassemble aircraft interior as needed to facilitate avionics installs/repairs
  • Light sheet metal fabrications as directed to facilitate avionics installation or repairs
  • Assist with wiring harness wire board set up and lay out
  • Complete wiring harness fabrication and installation
  • Complete antenna installations
  • Complete coax installations
  • Complete or assist with electrical harness continuity & power checks
  • Complete or assist with ground operational tests and inspections
  • Comply with Pre-Post Test Flights
  • Comply with 91.411-413 Tests
  • Helicopter experience preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of AC43.13 standard aircraft wiring practices
  • Sheet metal experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to read and interpret  aircraft wiring diagrams
  • Understanding of basic electrical components & systems
  • Proficient with soldering and terminal / pin crimping techniques
  • Good troubleshooting skills with both digital & analog systems
  • Knowledge of autopilot systems
  • Familiarization with basic Avionics test equipment
  • Ensure all tags are properly filled out and attached to respective parts.

Procurement Agent

The Purchasing Agent is responsible for working closely with approved vendors and maintenance personnel to procure materials and services needed to support aircraft and facilities including but not limited to:

  • Perform work to acquire supplies, services by purchase rental, lease through purchase orders
  • Coordinate actives involved with procuring goods and services such as equipment, tools, parts, and supplies
  • Review requisitions, confer with vendors to obtain products or services information such as price, availability, and delivery schedules product quality or performance, and
    inventories
  • Inspect and sign off on all incoming/outgoing aircraft parts prior to release to the floor
  • Discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection or quality control personnel, users, vendors, and others to determine the source of trouble and take corrective
    action
  • Coordination between Shipping/Receiving and Accounting Department on deliveries
  • Maintain filing system for all procurement matters.
  • Prepare purchase orders, computerized records
  • Performed other duties as assigned or required
  • Three (3) years’ experience a plus
  • Two (2) years aviation purchasing preferred but not required
  • Requires knowledge of policies and procedures of purchase orders, knowledge of commercial supply sources, and common business practices related to sales, prices, discounts, unit of measures, and deliveries.
Painter

The following job description includes major responsibilities as set forth for the position.   • Experience with products such as Axalta AF paint system, Axalta Imron Elite, PPG B/C & clears.
  • Responsible for all parts/pieces that are in the paint shop.
  • Must be knowledgeable if there is a paint issue and how to fix it, i.e. matching color, tinting, blending
  • Able to complete all phases of prep and painting processes.
  • Consistently produce high-quality work, set high standards, team player, good attitude, company oriented.
  • Must be detail-oriented.
  • Understand and adhere to safety protocols, use of personal protection equipment is a must.
  • Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations such as the disposal of hazardous waste.
  • Ensure all tags are properly filled out and attached to respective parts.
  • Will maintain an organized and clean work area.
